Measurement Season 2022/23
The measurement season 2022/23 was again a full success. Even if avalanche experiments could earliest start in February due to low precipitation events, it then started with the largest observed avalanche in this project. In all we were able to track 5 avalanches resulting in multiple particle measurements.
A big focus this year was to use the new develop AvaNodes from generation III with upgraded GNSS modules and bringing in density and shape variations into the particle measurements.
